The Image Igloo is a lovely image host to provide users a place to upload their images in a great setting. The website was created on October 25th, 2010. The origin of The Image Igloo was actually due to The Best Forum Ever. Originally, The Best Forum Ever had an image host, but because of the site’s last update, the image host didn’t come along with the update. That said, unknown to the staff, members noticed right away that there wasn’t an image host and quickly pointed the situation out to us.
Immediately, we took charge of the situation and with the help of Mike L aka Velocity, a former moderator of The Best Forum Ever, the name The Image Igloo was created along with the slogan: “Let us host your images on ice.” It is that creativity and members intuition which came with this website. This site is used by all types of people whether they are just a normal person uploading pictures from their latest trip, a photographer, or a graphic designer. It is meant for everyone and anyone.
This site was the first site to be built based upon the community and how they came together. It is quite amazing and everything about it proves that. What tops it off is the amazing mascot created by The Best Forum Ever member, Nick aka Hellazz.
