Welcome to the New EDM Assassin!

This is the press release from EDM Assassin and it’s grand re-opening. Check it out here: EDM Assassin.

EDM-invitation-1024x573

It makes me extremely happy to write this post today to introduce you to the new EDM Assassin. For the past month, I have been working extremely hard to create the new look, come up with ideal setup, and getting this site up-and-running with the new look and features. On October 26th, I took over EDM Assassin and pledged I would work on a number of things. I can say officially that I made sure to cover each and everything I mentioned in the list. Let me go over what I said I would do and how I implemented it on this site.

New content! I honestly love the music and am willing to dedicate some time every day to this blog. In between work, school, and the gym, I can dedicate at least an hour or so between things so I can get to you the latest music and news in the EDM world.

New Site Design! Cool thing about creating the site means I can redo the site any time I want. Over the next week(s), I shall be redesigning this site to give it a brand new look, yet keeping the same awesomeness that you know and love.

Interaction! I believe in PLUR and I believe in the motto of Swedish House Mafia: We Came, We Raved, We Loved. I want to try and boost Twitter interaction, Comments, Facebook page.

Up and Coming! One of the biggest things I loved about this blog was Jimmy included user created content aka your stuff. It wasn’t just about Hardwell or Armin Van Buuren, but it was about the music you created and if you submit through the site so I can have all the information, I’ll start posting it.

The Team! I will be looking for individuals such as yourself to help me with this blog whether it is promoting or writing. It is simple. Just contact me through the site. I’ll give you instructions and you can join The Order.

New Content – As you can tell, I have been updating this site very frequently. There are anywhere from 8 to 24 articles in a day and this is just the start. I have been including news about artists, their new music, albums, EP’s, tours, and more. Anything that I feel has value to you all, I have been researching and posting. The way I report to you the new posts have been through our Twitter Account, Facebook Page, Mailing List, RSS Feed, and as of recently posting on Soundcloud of the songs I have wrote about. I also worked on fixing the Submit Your Music form so I could be able to have a full understanding on who you are, what you are submitting, and what you want to see out of the post.

New Site Design – If you haven’t realized yet, we are currently running a complete new look. From top to bottom, I redesigned everything to be optimal and aesthetically pleasing to all of you. The homepage serves more as a homepage rather than a blog. The top is the latest post while the middle is the latest EDM news, and the bottom is all the new music. On the sidebar, you can see up-and-coming DJ’s work, recent posts, the Facebook Page, and more. I felt that putting the up-and-coming work on the sidebar gives these guys more of an ability to be found as this is featured on every page. To see all the posts, you simply just need to check out the blog or any of the categories listed above. The search bar at the very top works well too. When you view posts, there is related posts that provide similar posts to what you are viewing. The best part is if you look at the old and look at the new, I kept the same color scheme, but redid it. I wanted to keep something from the old look and bring it to the new look.

Interaction – This is something that I feel big upon. What is a site where I post new things, but don’t talk to those viewing my site. I want people to be able to talk to me, comment on blogs, tweet, and Facebook message me. If you don’t already know, I make it a point to welcome all new Twitter followers because it is at the point where I haven’t lost control. I also try to interact with everyone who mentions me as well as those who help spread the word of EDM Assassin. I can’t quite say the same about Facebook as the growth there isn’t comparable to Twitter. That said, I am working hard to resolve that issue because I believe both social networks are very important.

Up-And-Coming DJ’s! – I have done a lot for you guys not because I have to, but because I want to. Many of you have submitted your music via Twitter, Facebook, and the Submit Your Music page. I am quite astonished by the music you put out. While I am not the professional connoisseur I wish to be, I do know what I like and dislike. Up till now, I held back from posting many Up-And-Coming work because I wanted this to be announced. Now that I am announcing the new EDM Assassin, I am 100% taking new submissions for music. While I prefer you submit via the Submit Your Track page (essentially makes sure I don’t forget to post as well as makes sure I get all the details right), I will accept via email, Facebook and Twitter. As already stated, when I post your music, you will be featured at the top (as long as you are the latest post), the music section via the genre you made, and the Up-and-Coming section on the sidebar which lists the latest 3 tracks. All of these tracks will also be posted to the EDM Assassin Facebook page and Twitter.

The Team – This is something that I haven’t been successful in achieving, yet. I am still looking for individuals to help me out promoting this blog or writing for the blog. It is simple to do and I’ll show you everything you need. Essentially, as long as you’re literate and able to follow the few directions needed to make a post, you’ll be golden. All you have to do is click the Contact Us button, fill out the information, and you can possibly join The Order (what we call ourselves me).

Other Notes – Along with the site, I have also redid the look for our Twitter and Facebook page. They had a monogamous look before and they still do, but this time with the new logo as well as a new background to match this site.

Overall – Jimmy started this site and with my guidance and his hard work, he was able to take this site to amazing lengths in such a short time. Unfortunately, he didn’t stick with it and I intend to break those boundaries and go above and beyond any possible limitations. Like I said when I took over this site, I love this site and I love you guys. I want this site to evolve into something bigger and better and with the help of all my assassins (you all). Remember, we are here to promote the music and the good times.

Small Changes with the Bundiez Network

changeToday, we decided to re-evaluate our network of websites and decided to “cut the fat” with some of our websites. It doesn’t bring us satisfaction that we need to do this, but with everything in life, some sites just need to come to an end. Although, while you might think we’re mourning these losses, we’re not. We are in fact looking forward to the future. With the closing of some sites, we are focusing our attention to new sites and more towards current sites. Always trying to achieve a new level of  greatness with traffic, advertising, activity, quality, and quantity. With all of this said, we have some new projects that will soon to be announced, but let’s take a moment to remember the sites that we officially shut down today.

  • Lock It Out Fantasy Football (Now redirects to Elite Sports Report)
  • The Image Igloo (Now redirects to The Best Forum Ever)

Unofficially, there were also some projects that were scrapped before they were introduced to the network. We refuse to say that this is all permanent, but these sites are shut down indefinitely.

Cheers,

Bundiez Network Team

Welcome to the New Bundiez Network

The New Bundiez Network

Welcome to the new Bundiez Network! I like to formally introduce you to our new site design. We thought the old site didn’t represent the network appropriately and needed to be redone. This time around, we went with the minimalistic approach rather than the fancy slider and boxes to talk about us. We felt that the collection of recently added websites would be more fitting. As for all the information, it has been just moved around and can be still found through our navigation bar and the homepage. Feel free to report any bugs that you may find as with every good redesign, there are always a few pesky bugs that may have slipped past us. In the coming future, we will formally announce all the new websites that have joined the Bundiez Network since we never got the chance to properly introduce them to the world!

Once again, welcome to the new Bundiez Network

Penguins Sauce

Penguins Sauce is a fan driven Pittsburgh Penguin blog that takes a humorous approach to delivering its articles. While it provides many jokes, they also provide a in-depth approach to the game and what surrounds it.

Penguin Sauce is a bunch of elitist bastards who decided we’d like to get into the hockey blogging “business.” On the surface, you get profanity and poop jokes. Beyond it, you get honest, incisive analysis of Penguins’ hockey. When you put it all together you have 4 egotistical, self-righteous Penguins fans from the Millenial Generation. We’re not associated or affiliated with the Penguins organization in any way, and all views expressed herein are our own opinions (we can’t help that they’re all also right). Enjoy Penguins Sauce: A Pittsburgh Penguins hockey blog that shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Elite Sports Report

The Elite Sports Report is currently an all-sports blog that attempts to keep its content as unbiased as possible but at times it will add a personal point of view when needed. I attempt to cover all sports ranging from the NFL to international soccer.

Currently the Elite Sports Report’s content is only written by one person whose dream career is to be a sports writer. He utilizes the Elite Sports Report to voice his opinion about the different sports that he watches. The Elite Sports Report is still uncertain the direction that they want to take for the future concerning the content that deliver. But for now just sit back and enjoy what this blog has to offer and don’t be afraid to voice your opinions as well.

Grant Austin

This is the blog of the founder, Grant Austin. Here, he has his portfolio as well as some personal creations. He also has a very insightful blog on how he intends to improve the Bundiez Network as well as entries about himself. This blog was designed in order to show my personal side as well as my professional side of how I run the Bundiez Network. To me, everything is a learning experience and with that, I like to share what works and what doesn’t work. The name of the domain was created years ago before the dotcom boom, but unfortunately, I was not able to hold on to it. Finally, I made the executive decision to grow up and move away from my alias and focus on my true self. On that site is a few cartoons I made, a number of mixes, my portfolio, my blog, and my resume. Feel free to stop by and check out the blog. You may learn a thing or two or even teach me something.

The Super Good Life

The Super Good Life is a lifestyle blog.  Many blogs focus on one category or subject, The Super Good Life is different, we document fashion, art, design, technology, architecture and everything in between. The Super Good Life started on June 16th, 2010 and continues to enjoy a strong readership from those that enjoy ascetically pleasing content. The Super Good Life brings the best from the world’s of fashion, design and technology all under one roof to a young and diverse audience from across the globe. Updated regularly, the website is dedicated to providing content that is as diverse as it’s readers along with a dedication to provide users the ability to find out more. It’s founder David Strickland has had a lifelong fascination with media and a newly found love of design that when combined help him create the content that thousands around the World love.

I started Super Good Life for the reason that I am a massive fan of blogs and news websites but I could never find one that covered everything I like (understandable as that is) so I decided to re-start my passion for writing and create one of my own. The name has no real meaning behind it, I wanted something that would not lend itself to a particular scene as much, something that could be molded in the future to whatever I was doing.

I try to keep it updated every day with a variety of news subjects to keep my readers guessing, you could say that’s what keeps people coming back is the assortment of the material.
As for what The Super Good Life will be doing soon, I hope to continue to deliver the very best in the aforementioned subjects as well as doing video and photography work under the Super Good Life name, working with independent UK brands to give them the exposure as well as a work on making the website cleaner and easier to use.

The Best Forum Ever

The Best Forum Ever is a general discussion forum that provides an outlet to discuss almost any topic of your choosing. With a great community, you find a sense of community to voice your opinion. The Best Forum Ever is a forum that began in the summer of 2008 during the month of June. The site was a product of members from many other forums looking for a haven due to their forum being run down without a proper administrator monitoring the forum. Luckily, The Best Forum Ever was born and so started a new era in forums. Since June 2008, The Best Forum Ever has been growing steadily only to constantly improve due to the fantastic member base and extremely dedicated staff. Without them the site would crumble like the average forum; although, that is the least of the worries because of them.

The origin of the site is quite unique and a bit outlandish and totally bundiez, but definitely interesting. During Spring Break of 2008, I (Tony) was in Phoenix, Arizona with my friend, Tom, who invited me down with him knowing that I haven’t been on a vacation in a few years. He was quite an awesome guy and I couldn’t pass up on the offer. At the time, I wasn’t in the best shape, but I wasn’t complete out of shape, but compared to him, I was beyond anything that he was used to. Also, I can use the excuse that I didn’t have a pair of hiking shoes or anything with traction, but at that point, I don’t think it mattered.

Well, a few days into the trip, my friend, Tom’s father suggested we go hiking. It sounded like a marvelous idea as I love the outdoors and nature. What I didn’t expect was the combination of the extreme heat found in the Arizona desert, which in retrospect was extremely idiotic and oblivious at the time, and the size of the mountain. Now to Tom’s father, who takes part in Iron man’s and such, thought this was an amazing idea. He even talked down the hike making it seem like it was no big deal. Taking his word, I felt motivated to hike this trail.

The next day we left. Before the fact we hiked the trail, Tom’s father decided to walk to the trail. Unbeknownst to me, the trail was 20+ miles from our hotel along with the fact that we got lost along the way and had to make our own trail, which in retrospect was very dangerous with the wildlife there, was insane to even withstand. Climbing the mountain was quite the activity. The heat was bearing down upon me and felt as if it was only getting hotter. The trail kept feeling longer and more difficult.

Despite all the offers of me sitting and waiting behind, I refused any such nonsense as I wanted to persevere. The difficulty exponentially increased without any future of rest. There was a point where I thought I got lost. I was unable to find the trail and had to make my own. Due to this, I almost was bit by a rattlesnake and perhaps other wildlife. I do recall rattling. Along with this, I started hallucinating while going up the mountain. I was thinking I was in the internet. I could see files and avatars and posts flying. I had the idea to put 3 forums together. I was going to make the best forum ever.

The issue there was, I wasn’t able to think of a name. Randomly one day, I decided to type thebestforumever into the domain just out of curiosity. I don’t know what worked out for me, but the name was available. Almost immediately, if not immediately, the name was bought along with other ends TLD’s. From there, I set the forum up as best as possible and after several tries, the idea worked. I used the test setup with a few friends and it worked out well. It took me two weeks to make the forum perfect (since I had to redo it once). Once it opened, I spammed my aim list and changed everything to TheBestForumEver.com and it became a hit. From there, the site became what you see it now.
